My initial sketches framed the general idea for my board designs. The first sketch on each side is the bottom of the board. The middle sketch is the pattern background for the top of the boards, and the bottom sketch is the foreground for both of the boards. The design on the left is a snowboard targeted towards a female demographic, and the design on the right is a snowboard targeted towards a male demographic.
My combined rough sketches show a more refined outline of my board design ideas. In these sketches, the pattern background and the foreground designs are blended together, to give a better idea of what the finished product will look like.
My black and white composite vector drawings show the almost completed boards. The purpose of this stage is to create the boards digitally, as well as to go over what the colour scheme will be when they are completed. This is shown by the swatches above each board.
Lastly, I coloured in the boards based on my colour swatch choices above. These are the finished products!
